STREET FOOD FESTIVAL ZÜRICH 2016, SWITZERLAND

Finally, the Street Food Festival is back in Zurich. 

Last weekend I visit for the first time the Streed Food Festival in Zurich. Even if it was my first time there I already can say that it is one of my favorit festivals which Zurich offers! I love to try new foods from different countries. Unfortunately the food is in the higher end of the price point but once a year I think I can treat myself with some snacks. Every year there are around 100 different shops and food trucks with delicacy from world wide. So there is a lot to explore.

The festival itself looks like a big garden party which is decorated with pictures and with many chains of ligths as you can see below.

Also there are so many cultures at one palce so you can feel that the atmosphere is totally different as nowadays in Zurich. A big factor for the diffrent atmosphere was the decoration of the diffrent food shops and their seat opportunity. Some had some nice lounges and other ahd some reverse boxes.

The best time to go to the Street Food Festival is definatly when the sun set and by night. As soon as the lights go on you can feel like the festival gets alive. I am a big fan of the lights and if I would have my own garden I would definately buy me a lot of lights like these. Just to see them make me totally happy I cannot really say why. Maybe that is just a girl thing.. but I do enjoy it!

One of the interesting foods I have tried was an afghan delicacy called Schami which you should try if you are not a vegan! 

Another highlight this evening was the "Tibetan Teigtaschen".

One of the cutest shops in my opinion was the below coffee shop of miró.

And my favorit dessert was below macaroons from The Waffle Island. 

  

It was a very long night and I could have eaten all night long but yeah.. I do not have this much money. Hope you like this kind of "impressions and suggestions." Please let me know if your country also have such great festivals or what is your favorit food of it.
